Refund Policy | Van Isle Treks

A legal disclaimer

At Van Isle Treks, we understand that plans can change, and we aim to provide our guests with flexibility while ensuring that our services are fair and transparent. Please review our refund policy below:

Cancellation by the Guest:

  • More than 7 days before the trip: A full refund will be provided minus a 10% processing fee.

  • Between 6 days and 48hrs before the trip: A 50% refund will be provided.

  • Less than 48hrs before the trip: No refund will be issued, as the booking is considered final.

Cancellation by Van Isle Treks:

  • If for any reason Van Isle Treks must cancel a trek due to safety concerns, weather conditions, or other unforeseeable events, a full refund will be issued.

  • If a trek is rescheduled, the guest will be given the option to accept the new date or receive a full refund.

Weather-Related Cancellations:

  • Weather conditions can significantly impact the safety of our hikes. While we strive to offer our scheduled trips, we may cancel or reschedule in the event of unsafe conditions.

  • Guests will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if weather is a concern, and a full refund will be issued for weather-related cancellations.

Refund Process:

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to VanIsleTreks@gmail.com.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method, and it may take up to 14 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Late Arrivals and No-Shows:

  • If a guest arrives late or does not show up for a booked trek, no refund will be provided, and they will be considered a no-show.

Special Circumstances:

  • In exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies, we may provide a partial refund or allow for rebooking, subject to discussion and verification.
